A green screen tutorial is a guide that'll help you not only understand how to use this creative form of photography, but it'll show you how to use it the right way. Green screen photography can help you make pictures that are unreal. You'll be able to mix and match as you choose, just think about the types of pictures you could add to your memory book or scrap book.

But besides all that a green screen tutorial is necessary for those of us who are not professional photographers. We need to be walked through the entire process so that we understand. In this article I'm going to give you a few things you'll need to have when you're looking for a good green screen tutorial.

You'll need step by step instructions

Step by step instructions will help you understand what to do and you won't be overwhelmed by the process. Also you can go back whenever you need to just to make sure you get it right. Everyone doesn't learn the same way, so it's a good idea to make sure that the step by step instructions that come with your green screen tutorial come in many different formats. Being able to grasp the information in different formats will be a godsend for some.

You'll need a question and answer section as well as a way to ask questions

You may come upon problems when using a green screen tutorial that need answering. Chances are the questions you have to ask have already been answered by people. There should be some kind of a section that lists these questions plus there answers. Also, if you have a question that needs to be answered it may be a good idea to make sure there is a way you can do this.

Maybe the green screen tutorial will include some sort of help line you can call. Maybe they'll have some sort of forum you can visit to post your concerns. Maybe they have an e-mail system you have to use. Whatever the way is just make sure you can have your questions answered. This will save you a lot of time and frustration if you have serious problems later on.

A video step by step form of instructions

Having a video that walks you though the process can be good for you as well, this way you'll know what you need to do. You'll also be able to stop the video at will until you've completely absorbed the information. This goes back to what I said earlier when I mentioned having multiple ways to deliver the information to people. Some people may be able to absorb information in video form other then reading it.

A green screen tutorial will usually come with whatever software you decide to use. But this is only for the software; you may still have to learn about the overall process of green screen photography if you hope to get the most out of the experience.
